A Paula Deen breakfast

I love this woman
We are going to a birthday party this afternoon so I decided to post and make breakfast instead. For Christmas last year my mother in law gave me Paula Deen's: The Deen Family Cookbook. The recipe was called "Bobby's Whole Wheat and Honey Pancakes", on page 168. Pretty sure you can google it and find it too.
It makes 16 pancakes and since I was only making them for the girls and myself, I cut the recipe in half. They were suuuuper yummy and the fact that they were more wholesome and hearty was good too.I ate them with water and coffee and the kids had juice. I did one thing differently. Instead of making the honey butter for the topping I used maple syrup. I'm just a syrup kinda girl. Try this one out, you'll like it!!!!

Here they are
